How to receive the Portuguese Channel

On Multichoice / DSTV* Decoders DSD660,720i, 910 and upwards. Please note:
1. This procedure may not work with older decoders and will not work with the PVR model

2. Viewers in Mozambique, and Angola should ensure that their dish is using the IS-10 Satellite DSTV service. If not, they will need another set of equipment.

INSTRUCTIONS

Using your Remote Control Unit:

1) Press 'MENU' button

2) Move down to 'Advanced Options' and press OK.

3) On 'Dish Installation', select and press OK.

4) Enter PIN Code '9 9 4 9'.

6) Use right arrow to select 'Other' menu. Press OK

7) Check that Satellite Name is IS (or PAS) 7/10

8) Move to FREQUENCY on line 6 & press OK. Enter 12562 then press OK

9) Check that the Symbol Rate is 26652.

10) Move down to 'FEC' and use right arrow to change to ½. Press OK.

11) Move down to Polarity and user right arrow to change it to 'Horizontal'.

12) Move down to 'Use NIT', and change it to NO. Press OK.

13) Move down to 'Accept displayed values', and press OK

14) Dish Installation menu should display

15) Move down to 'Scan New Networks' Scanning may take several minutes. Wait till new screen displays. If 'Scan New Networks' is blanked-off move down to 'Scan all networks' Scanning may take several minutes. Wait till new screen displays.

16) Press 'TV' button and move down to 'Public IS (or PAS) 7/10' and press 'OK'.

17) Press P+ or P- until you find 'NOVO'. Remember, your TV button enables you to switch between Novo Tempo and DSTV or other networks.
